Taragüi - Maracuyá Tropical combines the fresh taste of maracuja and orange, which immediately reminds you of the heart of the tropics. This variety is one of Taragüi's newest and best-loved flavour combinations. Maracuja, the little sister of the passion fruit, has a yellow-green skin and a sweet but milder flavour. The flesh consists of orange-like seeds surrounded by a jelly-like texture, which makes for a smooth and fruity aftertaste.

Thanks to the special packaging of Taragüi keeps the intense and fruity flavour longer, so you can always enjoy a fresh and aromatic infusion. This yerba mate is perfect for both traditional hot cooking and cold tereré on hot days.

The word Taragüi comes from the Guaraní and means Corrientes, the province in north-eastern Argentina where this yerba mate is produced. Taragüi has been grown, harvested and processed by the specialists of Establecimiento Las Marías, the leading yerba mate producer in Argentina, since 1924.

What a fine website and shop! Here, it's all about the diversity and quality of the product. When I see those other slickers with their Yerba Matte shops, one thing becomes clear to me: They re-package and bulk Matte and put 'fancy' packaging around it to scam the yuppie crowd. I will keep buying here! Keep up the good work, guy's!

I ordered a bombilla, a gourd and yerba mate from Cruz de Malta.... Cruz de malta was the recommendation of an Argentinian friend.... delivery of the order went smoothly and was sent to a PostNL collection point at my request. The items were neatly packed and what's nice there was also an explanation included on how to prepare the gourd for the first use. Great webshop!!!
